Quirky fact: Alex blames a trip to Barbados for putting down Lancastrian roots. Originally from Leicestershire, he met his wife Alison on holiday and the rest is history.
Julia is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office, providing support and control whilst ensuring that all you important accounting deadlines are met. Julia has attained a Diploma in Higher Education in Accounting and Finance, City and Guilds in Computerised Accounts, and is ACCA Part Qualified.
Quirky fact: Julia was so determined to get a ‘front row’ view of Prince Charles marrying Princess Diana that she slept rough on the streets of London.
Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA) practitioner, Richard is a real expert at helping clients through the legislative maze of taxation and financial reporting.
He claims that it is a massively rewarding job and not in any way ‘geeky’.
Hidden talent: Richard is getting faster, with a personal best of 46 minutes 29 seconds for the 10K.
Quirky fact: He also makes an exceptionally good cheesecake.
With over 20 years of banking experience, Alison provides the company with valuable back office support, from HR through to credit control management.
Hidden talent: Alison was Lady Captain of Shaw Hill Golf Club, playing off a handicap of 14.
Quirky fact: Alison married Studholme-Bell founder, Alex, after a chance meeting on a Caribbean cruise ship.
